High Performance Vista
Microsoft Vista comes with a new set of battery and power plans. If Vista seems a bit slower than you anticipated it because the default power setting limits the CPU to 50 percent.
For high performance:
- Click Start, Click on Control Panel
- Open the Power Options control panel and change it to High Performance to give push your processor to its top rated speed.
